It has taken many years of persuading the misses but I am now the very proud owner of a defender V8. She is old but great as she is a 1992 (The car not the misses!!).
I have a few things I need to do for the MOT in Feb,
1) The headlights are like a pair of candles, some rust around the edge and also the shroud around the bulbs are rusty, They are so dim that the sidelights are brighter, could it just be an earthing problem or replacing the lenses would resolve this?
2) the main beam stork works for flash but not on the push away stay on high beam? The issue is that the interior light function stopped at the same time, would this be connected in any way (fuse)??
