Newbie checking in

Hi all, just joined the forum after lurking around the threads for a couple of weeks.

Just got my hands on a 2000 Disco TD5, so doing my research after the purchase, not always the best choice!!

Anyway, after a couple of minor niggles it's quickly become the family all rounder so Im struggling to get behind the wheel, as wifey has taken to it more than I expected.

Had a fully loaded X5 (E53) before this so wasn't expecting too much, however pleasantly surprised at the simplicity of it all and not least the parts for much cheapness.

Here's to a "summer" of fun towing the caravan and a winter without worry :0)

Hello, welcome.

I just joined the other day and have also just picked up my first Land Rover (95 Disco 300TDi).

So far I'm loving it, a lot more easy to drive and park than I thought it would be, my previous car was an MG ZS so this is a big change.

Only niggle so far is the rev counter ain't working, but I think I could be a LR convert!!

James, loving the look of the front end, the clear indicators and colour coding suit it.
