Yesterday as a member of the Cheshire Land Rover and The Lightweight club attended along with my friend Graham also a member of the Cheshire club the Newark event.
Our joint opinions are that while this site is far better with its faclities for such an event than Billing, some one needs to bang the heads together of the two factions that have produced the two event being held on the same week end. If not then we the Land Rover owners along with the suppiliers of our needs will be the loosers.

Lets hope that common sence will prevail and hears to seeing the event next year at Newark.

Old Land Rovers never die they just grow old with dignity.:nospamhere:

Great site but as you say

2 shows on the same weekend crap planning or politics

Politics.

LRM moved their show from Billing to Newark.

Then LRO gazumped them by putting on a show deliberatly on the same weekend.

Dirty trick.

... but one that LRM should have anticipated because they did exactly the same thing to LRe a few years back, forcing LRe to cancel their show at Kelmarsh.

Cheers
