New to this

hi new here got my first Rangey a month ago love it problem is fip had a leak it's a 2.5 diesel so I took the top of the fip off resealed with instant gasket replaced everything now my baby won't start does anyone know what I've done wrong do I just have to move the top of the fip about as I've read this has movement on it and it can over rev if not on in correct place can it also not start if it's in the wrong place thanks in advance wish I'd got one of these years ago brilliant motors
