New to this. NEED HELP!!

Afternoon ladies and gents,

I’ve recently got a 110 pickup crew. Done a few jobs on it my self I’m not a mechanic in any way,shape or form. I just enjoy tinkering with the old gal!! This one has me stumped. Went to take out for a drive and when I turned the ignition key nothing at all happened, and I mean nothing no dash lights no trying to turn over I can’t buy any lights on or beep the horn. NOTHING!! I assumed the battery had gone dead as she had been stood a while but I charged the battery and still nothing! Any advice will be much appreciated. Try and keep it idiot proof though as I say I’m no way near a mechanic.

I was just passing and saw your comment.
