Hi I am new to the site though have been reading other peoples threads for some time. Bought a 1988 90 this May is a N/A 2.5 though was once an early 2.5TD. Learning lots already and figured this may be the place to help solve a problem should i get one.
Things on my to do list
Rear shocks-standard replacements tomorrow, ones leaking and the vehicle gets a huge shake on t around 45mph, usually when you hit a bump, only way to stop it is to slow down or speed up to 50 (which is hard in the old girl), once shocks are done if the problem persists i will get the wheels balanced.
PAS started making a noise, leaking from pump. New pump probably needed sourced one on ebay but its far cheaper than paddocks so not sure. have emailed them its an ETC9077.
Fit A bar and wipac spots
Fit Snorkel, not yet purchased, looking at the Bearmach one for a 200tdi as my landy has air intake on nearside wing as it was a TD. Safaris are so expensive and the Bearmach can not be that different.
Get and fit diff breathers and bungs for timing case etc, anyone know of a cheap kit?
Any advice is greatly received.
