Welcome to LZ! :)

A couple of suggestions.
One, there may not be any such thing as a good sorted Disco.
Two, try not to type everything in bold. It may upset the natives.

Didn’t. Realise I had that setting on the font. Apologises. I know the discos can be troublesome but i just like the look of them and the ones I have driven off road were very capable.

They are quite a capable vehicle, I have had one before, mostly used it for towing, but a bit around the farm as well.

But they are a big heavy old bus, and if I wanted a vehicle for off road play, maybe a bit of trialling, stuff like that, I would look at something lighter and cheaper to run. Maybe SJ, Daihatsu, even a Series LR if you like classic stuff.

Hi and welcome.

Look at the likes of LRO, autotrader and the for sale section here to see what comes up. There’s no shortage of prepped disco 2’s available. Or you could buy a standard one and upgrade yourself according to what you want.

Check the rear chassis though, that’s the biggest problem area as it does rust.

Don’t forget some pics when you do get one.
