Hiya, I'm the owner of a 2002 TD4 Freelander, joined the forum to benefit from all the experience out there.
Used to own a Series 3, had it for about 5 years & even tried trialling it with North Lakes 4x4.
Great info today on forum, after freelander started blowing black smoke - found intercooler hose split. Temp repair carried out (should last a few years)
Using Freelander to ferry fishing gear (lobster pots etc) and for diving & shooting trips.
If I can add anything worthwhile I'll post it, if not I'll stay quiet
