new to the forum, looking for info on what to look for when buying a disco

Hi all, Im a new comer to all this. Im looking to get my self a Disco looking at reg around 1998 to 2000. can anyone give me some pointers on what to look and ask for or about when viewing. also is there a spec that is better to go for with them?
