New to site and need advice

Recently purchased a 200 tdi discovery on a 92, noticed a humming noise on a dry turn of steering wheel and knocking on a full lock,
Cant say i know anything about these cars so looking for your help, many thanks Paul

Ooh straight to the point ya butch beasty, ya got enough vaseline?, Freebiker might have some going spare ... but I doubt it

cheers fellas, really appreciate your kind comments, lol. At garage for mot today, going to let them have a good look around it for me.
Got loads to do as i want it in good order as i have 2 young children, searched the site and found it could be a number of things including, cv joints, steering damper, anti roll bar bushes.
I know it needs a new rear shock absorber so have ordered a 2" lift kit, should be here today, will be fun fitting as never done one.
