New to ownership

Bought and 88 county , 40 years old next year. car not me ! Took it into a great landy guy ,for some work they have found all sorts of little things and a couple of biggies. Swivel joints , ouch ! now they find they find that the core plug on the back of the 200tdi engine is leaking , Double ouch . Wife is not sure the purchase was a good plan . Can't wait for a trip or two , now lockdown is nearly over

Welcome to Landyzone. It's bad luck on the leaking core plug, I've been ruining....I mean repairing cars for nearly 50 years and I've only ever had to change core plugs on one car, a 2.5l triumph about 40 years ago.

The steering was so heavy that you could hardly turn .The place i took it to is a highly respected independent so I don't think i was misled
