Just thought | would introduce myself.
Always wanting a Land Rover since I was knee high, I finally took the plunge and have jusy bought myself a Series 3 1972 88" 2.25 petrol with Safari top.
Not in bad nick, but needs a little TLC.
First jobs are get the engine running smoothly as she tends to fart and pop a bit.
I am doing the fornt leaf springs on Monday as one side is bending the wrong way, so am going for a matched pair.
Other than there are a few cosmetic jobs that need doing to tart the old girl up and am looking forward to getting stuck in.
Forum looks great, look forward to reading a lot and hopefully learning a lot.
