Hi. I have joined the forum as have recently purchased my first Land Rover Discovery. It’s a 2004 td 5, Automatic. It has only had 1 owner from new and has full Land Rover service history. Car is a credit to previous owner.
I have an old motorhome, and also a 1978 MG Midget and as such don’t mind getting my hands dirty if required.
I am hoping however not to have to carry loads of tools as I have to in the motorhome and Midget
I have however just drove back to Edinburgh from Manchester and it has developed a horrendous misfire when accelerating in top gear. Ok in every other gear. Also will go in to kick down and accelerate smoothly until it then changes up again and rattles the entire car. Otherwise driving well
Any suggestions or do I need to post elsewhere on the forum for that.. Apologies if posting questions here is wrong.
