Series 2 New Swivel balls

Hi, I have just ordered a swivel kit, and plan to do it next week,
Do I need to order anything else any recommendations ? 1960 series 2.

What swivel kit have you ordered ? When I had a 58 2 it's swivel top bearing was still the spring cone type and I changed to the later Raiko bush type.

When I did mine I had to replace the big bearing that holds the half shaft and that wasn't in the kit.

I don't know what's in your kit but I also fit new axle case oil seals, gaskets, swivel housing seals and retainers, top pins, bottom bearings, and various fixings. I also fit new a steering lock stop bolt and plate, and jack stop while I was there since they were messing and are "meant to be there".

Oo I used to dream of steering lock stop bolts.
Must admit I do like the polished spring end from the tyre.

Set of bolts for the housing , I replaced halfshaft bearing collars and a uj which was a bit notchy. Got some of these too, good time for refurb and paint whole axle , make sure you don’t get the top and bottom bits mixed up right sod to get out again
