After a bit of " web surfing " a couple of nights ago, I came across Urban Panzers " changing front shock bush ", I thought I,d have a look at my own to see how they looked. Low and behold, they were the same as the one,s in his pictures. ( i.e., you shouldnt be able to get a screwdriver in them ).
Noticed at the same time that there was oil on the shock tube.
So on the way home tonight I picked a pair of " Though Back " dampers up from my local Landrover chap, and had them in within an hour. ( thanks to Mr. Urban Panzer for his " how to " guide ).
Went for a test drive and couldnt belive the difference !. The shocks must have buggered from the day I got the car. ( 60k ).
The track I live up just doesnt seem as bumpy now. £ 80 well spent !.
I might even get a set of rears tomorrow !.
