New Series 2A Owner

Hello I'm Scott and I'm a proud new owner of a 1969 Series 2A.

It was off the road for around six years so needs quite a bit of work for an MOT. Chassis and bulkhead not too bad; looks like an outrigger, a patch weld or two, driver's door post, and passenger footwell - we shall see..

I'm currently going over her making up a list of everything I think will need doing for that first green ticket. She last passed an MOT seven years ago on my 30th birthday. No doubt I'll be back with plenty of questions soon!

I watched my Dad restore a Series 3 some 20 odd years ago but am low on actual experience myself! Having fun so far though.

Welcome. My first landy was a 2a. Some reckon the nicest looking. Good luck with the project. Lots of helpful advice on the series section of the forum.
