Hi all, I bought a new roof for my s1 from craddocks about two years ago, now then ihave left the old beast out side in all wethers but i did not expect to see about four large holes when i had a look at her the other day. How long should a roof last? Could it be seaguls ****e perhaps? if i buy another new one should i treat it with wax?

if the new one is canvas the best thing to weatherproof it with will be something called stormshield available from any good camping and caravaning outlet its develloped for weatherproofing awnings and trailer tents fairly costly at £30 a gallon but this ammount will do a landy roof for roughly 20 years and is best brushed on so it soaks into the fabric
i have used this stuff on my trailer tent 3 years ago and it still to this day keeps water out and runs off like a freshly waxed car absolutely awesome stuff
