I hope to have it in my driveway by Easter and get that head off and see what's the damage.

Well done Alan - you got it at a great price - I was convinced it was going to go for double that.

Now the crossing of fingers starts until you get to see what's wrong - even if you have to buy bottom end bits, its still a great buy.

THB at the price HTR paid it would have been a cheap parts car for me - over here non-reconditioned IRDs out of scrappers sell for more than he paid for it!!!

Its a great looking low-millage Freelander that has a stuffed engine. Once he's sorted the engine it will be a corking Freelander again!
