hi my names steve . bought a land rover defender v8 3.5 just wondering . i need a sixth gear and was wondering if i could fit a td v6 gearbox in the defender i have . can it be done or has anyone done it any info would be really good thanks
 
no not yet . the reason for the six speed box was because i own a kia sportage with a six speed box but i am also looking at a transfer box from a disco because the tdv6 box is effin heavy , whats your thoughts :rolleyes:

Quite envious, I have always fancied a V8 Ninety. If I was going to re-trans one, I would go with an autobox! :)
