Just acquired a Freelander van from ColinNI who has been on here a fair bit (see https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/new-commercial-van-project.306422/page-6 for the history of the van). Sadly Colin's health and job situation meant he needed to move it on, despite all the work he has done on it over the last couple of years.
Main issue to sort out in the gearbox (reckon 2nd gear syncro gone) so will be fitting a used box probably. Will fit a new clutch and slave while I am in there. Plan to drop the whole engine and gearbox so will do a few other jobs while I am at it (thermostat and water pump probably).
Not keen on the bull bar myself so have pulled that off (despite all the effort Colin went to finding it and fitting it). Let me know if anyone is interested in it.
Hope to make full use of the knowledge on here during the project.
