Hello all,I live in the west of Ireland but am originally from Oxfordshire:5bcheers2: New to Land Rovers but think I'm going to enjoy the journey! Just bought what I assume to be a series 2a ? Needs a bit of work but nothing too daunting, just need to learn the in's 'n' out's.....complete novice at the moment!

So far I've been told.....It's got a red engine block,so is a five bearing crank(2.25 Diesel)
It has a mark 2 hydraulic winch.

Got a new set of springs included in the sale,also brand new door catch and door top with all the seals. Will need to give the engine a good service as its belching out a bit of diesel smoke and misfiring a bit ...but no knocks or rattles!
