New motor or old

Hi guys and girls

I have a dilemma I need advice I already own and like driving 300 tdi disco

But

I fancy a newer model

The dilemma is do I buy a new car or stick with my trusty 300 tdi

So I look to the landy driving world of advice as I have heard td5 's can be troublesome on electrics

Please advise

My TD5 90 is 2005 and hasn't missed a beat. Starts and runs perfectly. I haven't got it wet though......

The big question is, what will you be doing with it? Towing trailers about or traversing rivers?

i would have a 300

I love my 300 tdi but the remote is on its way out the car may only survive one more mot before it needs welding

I use it every day for work and this is what creates my dilemma

Get a price for the work that needs doing, before it needs doing,
It may help you decide

Get a coil sprung TD5 disco, that removes the occasional problems with rear springs. Other than that, make sure its well looked after previously, mines lovely to drive
