Hi all,

Joined just over a year ago to look at info about buying a LR but never got round to posting. Currently own a Freelander 2 SE TD4, had it just over a year now on an 07. Been a great car so far, has couple of extras including side steps, blacked out rear windows and twin sunroof. Thinking of getting a Discovery at the moment but not sure yet. Will post some pics up later in the correct section.

Unfortunately im not a dedicated off road nut so buying a defender wasnt something i was looking for with kids and dogs comfort in mind, father has had plenty of defenders in the past for me to know that it wasnt for me, i am probably what you hate, i bought a LR for practicality and because i liked the look of it, it will probably never venture off road other than when im at a meeting(racing quads) in a muddy field. I just thought i would say hi to people, sorry my choice of LR isnt to everyones taste, but hey isnt that what we all have choices and individuality for..

Stick with the Freelander, you know it makes sense.
