Hi Guys and Gals. I live in Bury, Lancashire, 8 miles north of Manchester and 5 miles east of Bolton. Wanted a landrover for about 40 (yes FORTY) years so finally bought a Disco Tdi 300 M reg (but with 1995 onwards electrics !!???) 3 weeks ago. Have just spent about 4 days solid farting about with drivers door lock barrel plastic cam thing, Rear heated window, Rear Wiper, slow puncture that repaired itself after I jacked the wheel up and put some air in. Before I did this, it went down to flat every 24 - 36 hours. Anyway, all the stuff that my mates have told me about landrovers is true! They are annoying with lots of fiddling little things to fix all the time, but they are easy to fix, very logical in design and better than sex (whatever that is) or chocolate. anyway I have a local scrapyard wot has about 10 land rover discovery 1 and 1 disco 3 wot had an engine/wiring harness fire. I've had stuff from this scrapyard and I can recommend it. Happy to help anybody and looking forward to the insults and banter from you veterans!

No; my boot was laced up too well to come off; just after the pic was taken I was firemans-lifted out!! :hysterically_laughi
