Hello Landyzone. Originally joined back in the early 2000's when I had a Series 3 SWB diesel and lived in Dorset where there are lots of green lanes to play around on. Sadly had to sell it, big regret. About a year ago bought a 2000 Discovery td5 auto from a mate who lost his license. 120,000 miles, reasonable condition, suffers from water ingress and a few other niggles but slowly working through it. In last 15 years have changed email a couple of times and couldn't remember original user name or password so re-joined the Forum from scratch. Love driving the old bus, it's like driving a favourite armchair around. Recently did a long trip (for me) about 400 miles and it did 31 to the gallon. Very Impressed. Always thought nothing could compare with a Series, but in my old age I've definitely been seduced by the allure of a younger model!!
