Hi everyone
In a moment of weakness I just bought another Defender. I've had lots over the years and although I grumble about all their little ways, I keep buying one after another. This time it's a 90 TD5. My Pumas both had bonnets and doors nicked so I wanted something less desirable.

The problem I have at the moment is a rubbishy central console. I would like to replace it but I can't find anyone who makes it. Anyone know different? The Mud UK version is for earlier cars. Maybe I could have one made ? Advice appreciated

Hello mate. Try the fender section and see what bling they have there.

A number of tratterers have had bonnets/doors nicked. They also fall oft when wet. Especially when driving at speed in rain. Get yerself a tracker to help find it if it gets nicked. Lots of tratterers get nicked each year and few are found/returned to their owner.

LR interiors have never been the manuf. strong point. I have an original RR built 30 years ago & cost 22 grand new (59k today) but it has a dashboard/facia quality that wouldn't be tolerated by todays' buyers of the cheapest eastern European imports.
