Hi everyone,
I am new to Landyzone and just starting to give my 1985 County 110 the much needed tlc it deserves. It's been with me for some 27 years and has been worked hard and serves me well - approximately 10 years ago it got a 300TDI upgrade. The bodywork is now showing its age and the chassis is in good sound condition although needs shot blasting and treating. The rear tub cross members are badly rusted and need changing which I hope I can get some sound advice on replacing these from you guys.
Door skins or new door frames/shells? what is everyone's opinion?
The list is endless and I need to keep it running every day. This will be a gradual restore as my budget will allow but will keep you updated as it goes.

Looking forward to talking to you all.

These are the first of the photos, you can see the tub cross member has developed a hole and is badly rusted, can this be easily changed without the body being lifted off, the doors have the usual electro aluminium rust, is it worth re skinning these and renewing the door components to bring them back into a comfortable usable condition, i have been looking on the net but have not found anyone who lists all the separate components.
