hi, new to this forum. I am upgrading my Defender 90 van, I think mine is a 2.4 puma? what I did notice is the slight grating into second and third gear - is this a known issue on the 6 speed box? just wondered if a gearbox flush may help. The box is very quiet to be fair with no leaks. Any advise will be welcome.

Welcome. Nice landy. Most owners live with noisy gearbox's. If you're worried about that maybe change the oil.

cheers - don't think its a major issue but wondered if others had a similar problem
