Lol I'm just getting used to it iv been trying to sort disco 2 out all day it just won't start put new battery on today and I've done eka code and still won't start got fuel so don't know what to check next

when you turned the ignition did the engine turn over?

Yeah turns over but just won't run its like it's not getting fuel

OK, then it is not an immobiliser fault.


have you seen the landrover toolbox videos on youtube? worth a watch to give you some ideas of what to check.

Otherwise the search button on top RH of screen is useful, as the TD5 has been covered a multitude of times. From Crank position sensor to fuel filter housing or pump.

OK thx for the help I will have a look for the video on YouTube and I was thinking fuel pump or something like that

I will let you know how I get on will be tomorrow now tho lol

What's is that

Ignition on, pump accelerator 5 or 6 times , Engine management light will come on and you will hear the pump run, a number of times to purge the fuel lines.

This is all the lights

When you turn ignition on the orange EML light will be on and then go off after a few seconds....... press the accel 5 times, the engine management light should flash , it should then be doing the purge procedure, the pump can be pretty quiet.

EML light is top left hand of photo, orange engine.
