Hi I am now the proud owner of my first ever 4x4 landrover freelander 2001. Have had for over a week but using any and every excuse to go out in the car lol ! even my wife almost ripped my arm off to take it for a spin this evening. Unfortunately I have no handbook for the 4x4 and not exactly sure how to put into four wheel drive at this stage hey ho I am sure it wont take long too sus out.

I am also concerned now about the cylinder head problems re the K series engine because that is what I have! but find it hard to worry to much at this stage as still in honeymoon period with the vehicle and it is as good as new inside (almost)

presumably the big yellow trigger type button on the gear stick is for more advanced driving? or how is this then selected any assistance appreciated! (i feel pretty doh! now)

well it is landyzone after all....

Welcome - things can only worse.

Search on the word RAVE and download it, you will then have the manual when things go wrong and also the owners handbook is there with an explanation of the various systems.

I dont mind it being downhill from here providing I can get it in the right gear lol or maybe will try the yellow trigger and eject both me and the wife .......

ah its just a bit of fun mate, we all have to learn somewhere. we all make mistakes when we start out. perhaps then you will get a real landrover!!ound:
