new member with questions

Hi my names andy a couple of weeks ago i bought myself an n reg discovery 1 with 81000 on the clock now with almost 83000 as i do a lot of miles . It had a small oil leak that i believed to be coming from the engine, but started to worry when the leak almost disappeared and engine oil level was fine. I have started to hear a noise when coming off the accelerator with gear still engaged it sounds like it might be bearings.

I dont hear this noise at any other time so the only thing i can think of is the gearbox oil is low and when accelerating the oil pressure is good
and oil is getting to all the parts ,but when i come off the accelerator the pressure is too low to get the oil around all the moving parts and now bearings or something else is fooked but im no mechanic so any help would be much appreciated

ps this has only happened in the last 50 miles
