Hi all, I have just begun restoring my 1999 Defender 90 Td5 and after reading some of the forums on LandyZone I decided to join and hopefully get some much needed tips and advice.
There's lots to do and plenty of time and motivation to do it!

Cheers all, I will get some pic's sorted later.
Been concentrating on getting rear load space sorted up to now;
Removed all seats and seat belt rails, repaired all the corrosion where the bots and brackets were and fitted a new chequerplate tub, almost finished just got the sides to fit.
Seems that spare parts identification is going to be an issue, so many serial number variants to deal with...
Even wheel nut replacement is being problematic identifying the correct ones; I was reminded by one of the traders at Billing Land Rover show that it's all part of the fun...

My floor's disappeared. :(

Hi and welcome!

Looks like time to get the welder out. Don’t forget lots of decent security measures too, landies are very popular with thieves.

I repaired the bulkhead on my 90, both footwells and up the top just below the windscreen frame, couldn't justify buying a new one.
Do you have a welder?
