Hello all,

Seems to be the thing to introuduce yourself so I'll cross that bridge now!

Just picked up our 2014 110 XS, Fuji White, Santorini black roof, Sawtooth alloys and as much kit as can be bolted to it (without a winch - would get pinched in London). Never bee a better time with production on the way out and I beleive this will be a keeper for a very long time - hopefully for life :)

Currently also have a 2000 Disco II which the 110 will be replacing and before that had a very basic 1985 90 with a TDi lump and Disco gearbox which went very well!

Did the Land Rover experience last week (Christmas present from the wife) so now how some idea of what these incredible cars are capable of... Sad to say I live in the middle of London but the family are from Devon and Derbyshire so plenty of chances to get dirty...

Look forward to learning a lot more about the car and whatever else I can glean on here.

Cheers,

lewis

HI and welcome to the madhouse.

2014!! Won't be doing any scratchy green lanes with that then?

You'll have to travel a distance from home to start to appreciate the capabilities of your new wheels, although having owned a Disco and a 90 previously you must have a good idea already. Do you have a date/target for getting the wheels muddy, and I don't mean cutting across the grass at Waitrose.!

I don't have a set target for getting muddy - first chance I get although those chances are few and far between here...

I do a few field trips to the Dorset coast every year and there might be a chance for some fun down there, it'll just be nice not to be on the motorway or sat in traffic - picked up last Friday from hadley Green in High Barnet and took nearly 4hrs to get home :(
