Hi, new to this forum as I am starting the process of renovating my friend, Matilda.

Mats, to the family, is a Discovery tdi 2 and has three careful (ahem!!) lady owners from new. I have had her for nearly ten years and she has very much become an extension of my personality - cantankerous, not everyone likes her, downright pigheaded sometimes but also very much there all the time.

But like any aging lady she is increasingly in need of some serious surgery. So before I commit to anything I decided to join this forum (I have been lurking here for years), ask for advice, noodle around and just say hi!

So here I am and it is lovely to meet you. Currently in lockdown in Montrose, Angus and probably moving up here soon.

    Welcome. Nice intro :)

As an aside, confused about "Currently in lockdown in Montrose, Angus and probably moving up here soon".

Thanks :). Testing driving living with the other half in Montrose. Nice countryside to drive in (apparently!) but not as nice as home (the Lake District)
