Hey everyone,

Thanks for letting me join. Recently acquired my first Defender, an '84 110. With COVID keeping us locked down over the last couple years, I wanted a project to keep me busy but also one we could us to get into the back country for camping, hikes, etc.

Got the corner guards mounted, now on to the dash and interior lighting.

Sure I will have myriad questions as I work through the truck (it's in good shape but always something to be fixed or upgraded) so look forward to learning from you all.

Thanks!
Andrew

Funny you say that, I have same thoughts, esp talking to friends back in UK with the way they are being snatched. Looking at a pedal lock and a fuel cut off as well. Soft top as it is, rather have them open the door and rifle than cut the top -- there's nothing inside to steal. But you're right in terms of deterring theft of the truck rather than just contents. I've seen Stone in SA has some options for mounting a switch inside a hood box also.
