New member in need of help in bradford

Hi my name is paul from bradford i am new owner of a p38 diesel 1997 and looking for help with my range rover. I have put a engine in her out of 525 bmw i changed every thing over but not the fuel pump,I have turn over running to batterys down, I have fuel going to the pump and the switch at the back of the pump is working, i have undone 1 fuelpipe from the pump to the injector and there is no fuel there.Please help is there anyone in the bradford area whitch could help with a syncro box i will pay what it costs to do it thank you again.I am sorry about my first post as i was pulling my hair out and just rushed it not explaining everything .Thank you

reckon it is something to do with security between BECM and ECU

there will be someone along shortly on here with a lot more knowledge than me on the subject
Rick the Pick or irish rover are your boys to talk re BECM stuff

did you use the engine ECU from the car or the range rover

did you use your inlet manifold as the BMW one puts the turbo on the top and not underneath or did you rework the pipes

thank for reply i changed the inlet manifold and the turbo and the sump .The only thing i didnt change was the pump and the only differance to look at is that the fuel return pipe is on top of the pump instead of the back.thank you again

did the turbo look the same or are they different

have the offer of an engine out of a BMW525td but want to know if i need a different exhaust manifold or the turbo as well

Why change the sump, did the BMW car one not fit

The turbo and the manifold are different because the turbo outlet are different,the manifold is different because it has erg pipe coming from it.
The sump & pick up pipe is totally different because if yoo try and use the bmw one it will hit the front diff
