New member from California

Hello All! I have a 1998 Discovery that is nicely outfitted. One of these days I would like to convert it to a diesel. We don't have those delivered to the states. What we do have in the states is a lot of really great trails to run. I have watched a lot of youtube videos of British off roading. I thought I would post a couple of links to some of our recent Southern California Land Rover Club events. This first one is my buddy Grant and I running a great trail called Sidewinder. Grant turns his over onto its side.

Yesterday I was out in the West of Ireland - Co. Denegal. Some of the roads out there are pretty similar to your trails. Only difference is this morning there was a stream running down our road. Doesn't look like you have that rain problem!

Nice driving Ginger - you made that last 'turnover' hill look easy (well, at least not as scary)!

We don't get to see many streams running down trails in Southern California. We have a pretty active club (Southern California Land Rovers). We have a little bit of everything on our runs - even a 300tdi powered old range rover.
