I've just bought an '03 LHD 2.5litre se Freelander with 150k here in Canada.. Just last night I found that I had an engine light come on (emmisions) as well as leaking fuel and the smell of fuel outside and inside the truck..thanks to member Jrdinger...who posted a bit on cleaning your fuel pump back in 2007.. I was able to locate and fix some other guys error when he worked on the fuel pump and didn't fasten it back into the tank.. He left the retaining ring undone and the fuelpump was bouncing up and down and allowing spillage, particularly with a full tank...
