New member and new to Land Rover

Just a quick hello to all in way of introduction.
I have always longed for a Discovery but never had the funds for a decent one. Due to life's limitations I have decided to get my foot on the ladder with a Freelander whilst I continue to save. Originally I was looking for a TD4 but I found low mileage Freelander HSE 2.0 that I felt was too good to miss after months of looking.
I am getting excited as I pick it up tomorrow! Shows how excited as I have joined this site before I take ownership. I read lots of mixed messages about the Freelander but I hope I enjoy the experience.

Well it's been a couple of months since taking ownership. Lots of issues have come to the surface (my fault for not being thorough with initial check but engine and bodywork seems good. Thank you for all the help I have found on here which has helped me with all the 'smaller' issues. (Rear window regulator, key fob battery, moisture in rear compartment, rusty sunroof surround)
