New lift pump?

Hi there my 110 2.5td got pmt last night drove for 20 metres then cut out. No fuel getting to the engine n the primer levr on the lift pump has no resistance. Im thinking new lift pump but how do I know the problem aint further down the fuel system mebe the fuel pump? Any easy way to check?

Take the line that goes to the filter housing off and try pumping it on the lever, then turn the engine over on the starter a blimp to make sure the lift is not just on cam. Try again any diesel? Or just undo the line and turn it over on the starter. Diesel should spill out.
If you can't get any diesel then new pump time.
