Hello all,
I've just bought myself a 1986 110 Project on E-Bay (Item number: 140499743600 if anyone is curious) which I plan to restore and modernise a bit. I've always messed about with cars and have restored/resurrected various vehicles from Triumph Spitfires, Jaguar XJS, MGF, even a Volvo 340! However this time I fancied a change, I plan to keep the vehicle a long time (I've had my Spitfire for 19 years, it needs a bigger cold weather brother).
First question is - can anyone recommed a good restoration/repair manual/book? I have the Haynes manual but it's a bit thin on detail, it's more aimed at servicing then restoration.
I'm really looking forward to Land Rover ownership, I'm already taken aback my the massive passion owners have for these fine vehicles.
