Got the syncmate yesterday and went to pick up the car from the mechanic today. Battery completely flat ofcourse and it said key code lockout on the dash display, so we just towed it back home again. I didn't even try the syncmate yet because it feels like it's properly immobilized right now and either way it won't do much if the battery is flat. Going to leave it charging tonight and see if the key code lockout message is gone by tomorrow so I can try entering the EKA code. I hope it will work because I have no nanocom to enter it through the obd.

Update: Ok, there's good hope! :) Peeked through the window and the dash message was gone already so I gave it a go. The car accepted the EKA code on the first try after charging for about an hour. Going to leave it charging for a while longer before I try starting it up.

Update: Car started with the syncmate! On my way to the dealer right now so they can figure out the battery drain themselves.
