Hi all, although technically not a new member I never really got into the swing of things before so thought I'd start afresh.
As the over of a 98 freelander 2.0 I've enjoyed the hard life of a love affair for the past year. Originally buying her as a non runner with a blown IRD (replaced on the driveway on axel stands without removing the sunb frame) I've had a year to get to know her.
Recently all the little issues almost pushed me to sell up and buy something else when my parents offered me £2k to buy something more reliable.
NOPE, but I love her so have decided to invest most of that fund into the LR.
So project improve the freelander starts.
Below I'll detail the issues and plans, and although I'm trawling through the welth of info the internet has to offer, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Clutch replacement
Timing belt replacement
Glow plug replacent (currently siezed)
Replacement interior (Will TD4 interior fit?)
Various cosmetic repairs
Full service
Idle issue (likes to idle at 1100 then randomly rise to 2000 for no apparent reason)
Under very light throttle complete loss of power with CEL light then back to normal. Can happen 3/4 times at once like an on/off switch but never under acceleration

As you can see there are a few things to get on with, with a family and working full time.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated......and no im not selling her and using all the money to buy a TD4 before anyone says haha. I like my LR just the way she is, she just needs some TCL
