Hi everyone, Picking up a K reg Land rover Disco this week, so thought i'd sign up as I'm totally new to the world of 4x4 but wanted a bit of a project and a new hobby.

Anyone else in the Bucks area, and where can i find out about the best places local to drive a bit of light off road to start with?

Is Grubbins Lane in Speen still open to traffic? I used to live that way when I was a nipper and my first experience of off roading was being driven down there by my old man in a Series IIa, when I was 15, so 20 something years ago. twas a VERY muddy lane.

Anyway, :welcome2:

Hey mate, whereabouts in bucks are you? im down in beaconsfield some of the time, though my 110 will soon be off the road for a while. i can point you in the right direction though if you like.

there arent many local lanes, but herts and surrey arent a million miles away and they are an aladdins cave of byways. the m4 and access to salisbury isnt bad either

whaddon 4x4 is a pay and play up near milton keynes also!

Hi there. I live in bicester and im a member of bucks and oxon 4x4 response group. We meet tomorrow night in marsh gibbon. We go green laning usually on the 1st sunday of the month and marshall and attend most of the big shows during the summer. If you fancy popping along you can check out our website at: BORG - Bux and Oxon 4x4 Response Group and :welcome2:

:hijacked:
what maps are good for showing what lanes are driveable?

I too am new, just bought my first 4x4, a 1991 Range Rover Classic Vogue SE (3.9 V8).

Anyone local to Amersham/Chesham/Great Missenden area? Would also like to find a local green lane to try out at some point, but want to stay legal for obvious reasons!
