New here - Defender project underway

Hi All,

After many years of wanting, but not being able to commit the time or money, to a Defender, I have finally got a project underway.

Now have a Left Hand drive 300TDI, 1997, 110 Defender in need of some serious work.

Most parts sourced, new HD chassis has arrived and just been powder coated. Work starts mid Feb and hopefully we will have completed the Chassis swap in about 10 days.

Refurbed Wheels - Found at one of the Spare day events, needed powder coating, but have turned out alright.

HI Guys and thanks for the messages. Will keep the pictures coming as the project moves along. Just organizing the final pieces of this jigsaw, new door skins, welding, bodywork & painting etc. Damn time consuming, but worth the effort.

Question for the more knowledgeable people out there.

I bought a set of Mangel Dragon wheels from one of the Spare days last year - see pictures above, They came with a few wheel bolts, which I presumed would be easy to source. Turns out I need a specific type, not your standard Defender wheel nuts. Anyone know where I can source a complete set of these - see picture below. They are 5cm in length, thread section has an outer diameter of 16mm.
