New guy from Rugby

Hi all,

Literally only just got a Discovery 2 earlier in the month, so I'm pretty new to the Land Rover scene. Have always fancied having one, sadly writing my car off in April (basically destroyed the Sump) I decided to go looking for Defenders. Because I couldn't find one at a sensible price, I went looking at Discoverys and I have to say they've really grown on me.



Before I got the Disco, this was my daily drive. Might be a 1999 Volvo V70, but it served me well considering how much I got out of it. Sadly she's now scrapped, but one day I might get another just to tweak with it.



At the minute however, this is my Disco. Was called Delilah but I'm not too keen on the name, just doesn't sound right haha :rolleye:

That's all for now, hopefully be working on it as soon as I have the money to do so.

I like Discoveries too, especially seeing as there were no Defenders about at the right price when money for a Land Rover was burning a hole in my wife's bank account!

Already have shouted "Why?!" a couple of times in the past week or so, Delilah broke her Steering Box and decided to leak around the sunroof.

Manual with the TD5, don't think I'd be able to run a V8 on my apprenticeship wages.
