Hi Ratbag, I had a fault like that a few years ago in Birmingham, it turned out to be a height sensor out of normal operating range. You may also try cleaning out any dust etc in and around the valve block. Regards, Andy

hi andy,

thanks for that,

i'll get onto it. is the valve block at rear right of engine bay?

David.

I think the strips under the headlights, both the grey plastic bit and the colour coded stip, need to be painted the same gunmetal grey as the grill, that should be the finishing touch I recon!? Go on Mr.photoshop, give that a try and let's see what that would look like!

hi bigandyt,

i think i'm with you on that, i'm going to heve my orignal grill painted gun metal to see how that will look.

do you know how to remove the plastic strips under the headlights?

David.

Hi David, it is located on the R/H side of the engine bay when looked at from the front, it is in a black plastic box the size of a shoe box.

Good luck,

Andy

My grill was a bit faded and patchy like yours and I have used Autoglym Plastic cleaner and its like new, give it a really good clean with a degreasant, like fairy or something avoid it on your paint work, and clean thoroughly with a soft clothe and the auto glym. do it a couple of time sand really work the liquid in. comes up great.

I really like the new grill...looks great. Not sure though if it looks like its added rather than standard...I was a bit tempted to add the new style lights and grill but not sure, i dont want mt rr to look pimped.
