Noted - will certainly look at a post aswell then. Thanks for the suggestions - as you say I want to make it as difficult as possible!
Just thinking, a Ring doorbell might be the cheapest and easiest way to set up camera and alert system. You can set it to cover as wide or narrow as you want on drive. That way the alerts won't be set off by everything in the world :)

Top idea that! I've got a camera in the car too but the view is limited unless someones literally in the vehicle... Ring could give me some good images externally. I'll order one now - thank you!

Good thing about Ring is you can custom the alerts , and you get really good images, day or night.

Hello everybody!

I bought my first Landy yesterday after wanting one my whole life and I am ESTATIC. Looking forward to getting my hands dirty and being poor forever now!

Im based in West Mids and im hoping to meet some other owners, make some friends and learn as much as I can about these beautiful beasts.

This is me and the Def - shes a 56 plate TD5 110!
Nice motor, made any plans on what you're going to do to it or with it yet?

Hi and welcome!

Fantastic looking Landy! I have to ask, what’s the secret to ladies liking landies? My wife won’t go near mine...

Definitely invest in lots of decent security measures too. Landies are very popular with thieves.

Don't know about others, but mine is being taught to drive in one. I learned that if I could drive an Army Land Rover I could drive anything :)

There's a security post in the fer sales though you might have to search a bit...been in the corner of me workshop about 3 years.

I might even know which corner

Ahh brilliant, I'll have look thankyou!

Got someone coming to quote tomorrow with installition too as not sure id be able to install by myself to be honest

Absolutely. Cant wait to conquer off the beaten track for the first time
If you can blag an off-road day with an LR off-road experience company, do it. Find out exactly what your lanny and more so you, are capable of, in a controlled, insured, environment, in someone else's vehicle. :) Then, when you jump in your own girl you'll be aware of what will get you into trouble, and what will get you out of it :)
