New freelander owner

Hi

Just joined the forum after buying my first land rover, this being a td4 freelander . Only had it a week and already searching the net for accessories and that. Anyway just wanted to say hi and nice forum.

Congratulations on the right choice of Freelander. Might be worth sticking your Rhino skin coat on as you enter. Freelander drivers do get a bit of a ribbing.

It's all in good humour so don't take offence, Just join in with the banter.

first job, get the egr apart and clean it, it will make a difference !

lol i noticed the freelander jokes as a looked through other posts, I agree about the repairs tho.....only had it less than a week and already replaced the suspension drop links coz of a knocking noise.

thanks for the welcome tho. oh and with regards to the egr thing, where can i buy a blanking mod from?

Yep good point, save your money for a new VCU and have an IRD contingency fund set up.
