Hi everyone, just joined your group.
I have just purchased my first Land Rover and will collect it next Sunday,
Its a 2004 Land Rover Freelander 2.0 Td4 SE Hardback 3dr, and any information you can give me on things I should be aware of with this vehicle would be very useful, got an MG ZT 2004 at the moment, so I think it will be very different drive, can't wait to collect it.

has it been test-driven ? .. engine runs fine ?
no weird noises from the drivetrain ? .. clunking .. whining .. etc ( and suspension 'n brakes )
does it not feel like the brakes are on when turning full lock forward or reverse ?
4wd system is actually in working order ?
all tyres are the same make /model ?

if so .. some info links here:
links to freelander1 info

Welcome to the forum.:boxing:

you will get a lot of crap info such as buy a gallon of petrol and set fire to it and the like but its just the lads having fun. There are some really good information on here especially on repairs and such. If you have any problems and you do repairs don't forget to post what the problem is/was and how you fixed it it always helps others.:D:D:D:D:D:D.

Once again welcome and enjoy the ride
